Ms. McCready was born and raised near Medford, Oregon. She has lived in California since 1980.

She received her legal education from the University of Northern California, Lorenzo Patino School and was awarded a Juris Doctorate in 1990. After practicing in Sacramento, she joined the firm in 1992.

Her legal practice is primarily in the fields of family law, domestic partners, wills and trusts, bankruptcy, social security, workers' compensation, personal injury and general litigation.

She is active in the community donating time as a pro tem judge in the Solano County Courts and as a member and officer of Soroptimist International of Dixon.
